Eurotalents Training Camp Makes Successful Start in Austria

Organised under the auspices of the European Table Tennis Union in co-operation with the ITTF Development Programme, the first pre-selection training camp for the continent’s Talent, Identification and Selection initiative, known as Eurotalents, commenced on Tuesday 26th July,

A total of 16 players from seven countries gathered in the Austrian town of Stokerau.

Perfectly Organised
“Everything was perfectly organized by Stanislaw Fraczyk from UTTC Stockerau”, explained Neven Cegnar, the Development Manager for the European Table Tennis Union.

“He was assisted with expert help from Ferenc KarsaI, Attila Halmai and Levente Aranyosi”, added Neven Cegnar. “The players and coaches have all enjoyed a quality time together; the conditions are very good and the atmosphere is the fantastic.”

Conclusion and Next Step
The training camp concludes on Tuesday 2nd August.
Now the next step is the Seconds Pre-Selection Camp II in Kiskunfelegyhazi, Hungary; impressively 47 players from 17 countries have applied to attend.
